We are delighted that you have decided to study for the CTA qualification. Whatever your goals, we hope you find this qualification personally, professionally and intellectually rewarding. We know preparing for exams can be stressful, especially if you have a full-time job. So, here’s our bitesize guide to the CTA exams, which we hope you will find helpful.

When can I take the CTA exams? 

The CTA tax exams take place twice a year in May and November. 

The Computer Based Exams (CBEs) can be sat at anytime, depending on availability.

 

How do I register as a student? 

You must be registered as a student for at least 4 months before sitting your first exam. For May, this would be the 31 December and for November it would 30 June. View further details on how to register as a student.


How do I enter for the CTA exams? 

When exam entry is open, log in to your account and click on the Enter for the Exams link on your dashboard
