Qualification fees

When you decide to register as a Pillar Two Award student, there are some fees you will need to pay.

All Pillar Two Award fees are reviewed each year, and are subject to increase.

In addition, the CIOT reserves the right to increase the fees charged to Pillar Two Award students to cover any VAT or equivalent tax charges made in the student's country of residence.

Student fees

Student registration:

£125

This is a one-time fee which will cover your registration for a two-year registration period

Exam entry:

£275

This is payable each time you enter for the exam

Incidental fees

These fees aren’t relevant to all Pillar Two Award students, but are something to be aware of:

Late exam entry fee:

£107

This is an extra fee applied to entries received during the late period

Re-registration fee:

£125

You only need to pay this fee if you do not complete the qualification within two years, but wish to continue your studies

Certificates

All students will receive a full qualification certificate on successful completion of the Pillar Two Award, free of charge. However, should you lose your certificate after receiving it, or need a replacement copy, a £70 fee will apply.

Courses and study materials

Registration and exam entry fees do not include any costs related to courses or study materials. Queries about tuition fees should be directed to your course provider.

Cooling off period

If your situation changes, you may cancel your Pillar Two Award registration within one month of the date you submitted your application. You will be refunded via your payment method, minus a £15 administration fee. To cancel your registration, you must inform us in writing.
