Re-register as a Student

Re-registration will be for a further three years (CTA only), four years (Joint Programme) or five years (Tax Pathway).

If your student registration has expired, or it is six months away from expiring, you will be able to re-register as a CTA student. You can view your student registration expiry date under My Account > My Membership in the Portal.

What you need to know

  • When you re-register you do not have to wait four months to sit an exam, as per the requirements upon initial registration

  • You must apply for re-registration before the deadline for entry to the exam session you want to sit, which is the last day of the preceding August for the November exams and the last day of the preceding February for the May exams

  • It may take up to ten business days for your application to be processed by our Education Team

Payment methods

We accept the following:

Alternatively you can choose to have your employer invoiced for the re-registration fee.

Employer invoices

If you choose to have your employer invoiced, please ensure your employment details are up-to-date under My Account > My Profile in the Portal before re-registering, as this will enable us to provide the correct invoice details for the application you make.
