"I run a boutique firm of Chartered Accountants, S Banwat & Associates LLP, where I practice in taxation including international tax, transfer pricing, transaction advisory and implementation, and valuations. The ADIT qualification, which I achieved in 2013, has helped me develop my expertise in topics that are key to the advice I give to our clients.
As an ADIT Champion, my aim is to motivate young and experienced professionals alike, to take the next step in their tax careers and keep pace with the fast-changing world of international tax, in the era of Automatic Exchange, MLIs and BEPS.
I’m also a member and convener of the International Tax Committee of the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, and play an active role in the International Fiscal Association’s India Branch, where I am a YIN India Representative.
