Kees van Raad is Chairman of the International Tax Center Leiden, having previously held positions as Professor of International Tax Law at the University of Leiden and counsel to international tax firm, Loyens & Loeff. Kees serves on the IBFD’s Board of Trustees and is part of the steering group for OECD’s International Etwork for Tax Research. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the International Fiscal Association’s Jury for the Mitchell B. Carroll Prize and an honorary member of the IFA. He was previously the Chairman of the Executive Board of the European Association of Tax Law Professors and has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich, Germany.

Kees is also the author of Materials on International, TP and EU Tax Law 2020-2021, a primary text for the Principles of International Taxation module in the ADIT qualification.
