DITT Candidates

The Diploma in Tax Technology will help to provide tax professionals with the technical expertise and knowledge to participate in tax tech projects and stay up to date with current trends in tax technology.

You do not need to be an existing member or student of the CTA or the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) to do this qualification, but you must have a basic knowledge of the principles of taxation. If you don’t have this you can take the online, on demand, Level 2 Foundation qualifications in VAT, Personal and Business Taxation offered by the ATT. If you are interested in technology, but have no tax knowledge, we strongly recommend you take at least two of these courses before starting the Diploma. Find out more here Online Courses - ATT Foundation Qualifications | The Association of Taxation Technicians

Our syllabus has been developed by CTAs who are technology specialists with experience across the tax profession. CIOT has worked with two organisations, Coefficient and Tolley who have brought this syllabus to life in the learning material, which has then been reviewed extensively by CIOT. The material and assessments will be delivered on the Tolley IT platform.  The content within each module will be updated on an annual basis.

You will need to first register as a DITT candidate with CIOT before you visit Tolley to purchase the learning materials.
