Tax Law Review Committee - survey about the operation of the First Tier Tax Tribunal

The Tax Law Review Committee (TLRC) is currently undertaking a project looking at the operation of the First Tier Tax Tribunal (FTT).  

The TLRC was heavily involved in the work to move from the old system of General and Special Commissioners to the FTT and, as more than 10 years have passed, consider it to be a good time to stand back and consider the FTT’s current operation. The TLRC is keen to receive feedback from tribunal users on their experience of the FTT. With that in mind a survey has been prepared which can be found here.

The survey findings will be used by the TLRC in compiling a report on the operation of the FTT with a view to making recommendations for the operation of the FTT going forward.  More information about the TLRC’s project can be found here.
