Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) - update

The Chancellor of the Exchequer has written to us with some important information about the launch of the SEISS. 

• HMRC are starting to contact people they have identified as eligible this week (beginning 4 May 2020)
• The online eligibility check is live
• Claims will be open from 13 May
• Payments will be received into claimants’ bank accounts from 25 May 2020 (ahead of the original June schedule)
