Self-employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) - CIOT and ATT webinar - 9:45am Tuesday 7 July 2020

20 Jul 2020

On 29 May 2020, the Chancellor announced that the SEISS would be extended with eligible businesses able to claim a second and final payment in August. The payment will be worth 70% of their average monthly trading profits, paid out in a single instalment and capped at £6,570 in total. He also announced that claims for the first payment could continue until 13 July 2020.

This webinar, which was broadcast live on Tuesday 7 July 2020 provided a recap of the scheme and a look at what’s new, and covered key dates for the first and second grants, who is eligible and who isn’t, what ‘adversely affected’ by coronavirus means, how to calculate the grants, how to claim the grants and compliance aspects, and was followed by a Q&A session.
