Tax technology is a fast-moving area, tax professionals need to adapt quickly to keep pace. To do so requires greater awareness of digital technology, the tools available, and an understanding of how they can be used to shape the future of tax compliance and advisory services.

CIOT’s Diploma in Tax Technology (DITT) offers candidates a foundational understanding of tax technology and is aimed at tax professionals, those returning to the profession, those working in the software industry and new entrants into tax technology. The Diploma is online and on demand, made up of nine compulsory modules, and then depending on the route you select a further module of your choice.

In July 2025, we launch our next annual update to the DITT syllabus with new content and resources throughout the programme, reflecting recent and real-world developments in the world of tax technology.
