Alfredo Espada
Head of Tax Technology, Astrazeneca
Alfredo is a Spanish lawyer who joined the world of Indirect Taxes over 15 years ago. Strongly interested and predominantly focused on tax technology, tax transformation and business process improvement, has conducted his career both in Spain and UK, combining different roles in both consultancy and industry (mainly Automation and Pharma). Currently employed by Astrazeneca UK Ltd as EMEA Associate Director for Indirect Tax and Tax Technology, also chairs the European Tax Technology committee at the Tax Executive Institute (TEI) – EU Chapter.

Alexander Kobakhidze
Tax Technology Specialist, Fonoa
Alexander is a Tax Technology specialist at Fonoa.com - a global tax automation platform with a single API which services focuses on solving tax challenges for digital platforms, marketplaces and other 'online first' businesses. Prior to joining Fona, Alexander was Head of Tax Technology at Uber, where he and his team worked with both internal and external stakeholders; building tools that would automate internal tax compliance processes and helping the design of tax products for the platform's users (Restaurants, Drivers and Couriers). During his time with Uber, he also supported the OECD Working Parties 9 (Consumption Taxes) and 10 (Exchange of Information and Tax Compliance) with their work addressing the challenges posed by the sharing and gig-economy.
