HMRC’s delay in the publication of March 2022 import VAT statements on the Customs Declarations Service is resolved

HMRC have contacted stakeholders including the CIOT to apologise if taxpayers have experienced any problems viewing the March 2022 VAT statement on the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) financial dashboard. HMRC resolved the issue and statements are available to view and download. 

HMRC states: ”If you have already completed your VAT Return using an estimated import VAT figure, there is no further action you need to take at this stage. Please review your statement and if any adjustments are required please make them on your next return. If you have not yet submitted your VAT Return, please use the information now available on your CDS financial dashboard to do this.
