HMRC research into how large businesses manage their taxes

24 Jul 2023

HMRC are conducting research on how large businesses manage their taxes and have asked us to share the following information on their behalf.

HMRC would like to speak to people who:

  • work for a business which has over 250 employees based in the UK, and
  • have responsibility for Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE or National Insurance in the business.

The research will consist of a one-hour interview on Microsoft Teams between Tuesday 7 August and Friday 18 August. It will follow HMRC’s research ethics principles and all responses will be treated with strict confidentiality. There will also be an option to take part in follow-up research.

If you would like to take part in the research:

  1. Complete the form: Sign up to take part in HMRC large business research, or email [email protected] with the subject line ‘Large Business Research’.
  2. HMRC will then contact you to arrange a suitable date and time to participate in the research.

If you have any questions regarding this research, please contact [email protected]
