EIS withdrawal of tax relief: HMRC’s letter to investors - Update

HMRC’s Wealthy External Forum have issued a briefing to forum members about letters to be sent to taxpayers where relief is withdrawn because the issuing company no longer qualifies for relief.

The letter will be sent to the taxpayer with a copy to the agent when represented. The briefing and sample letters to a taxpayer and agent can be found here and here.
