Women in Tax and New Tax Professionals Committee: International Women's Day 2023 - Embracing Equity

Thursday 9 March | 17:00 - 18:00 (GMT)

Women in Tax and CIOT/ATT New Tax Professionals Committee present - International Women's Day Event, Embrace Equity

Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities. Equity recognises that each person has different circumstances and allocates exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.

In this thought provoking event, we looked at how the tax profession can embrace equity.

This was a virtual event aimed at women and men in the tax profession.

For International Women's Day and beyond, let's all fully #EmbraceEquity. Equity isn't just a nice-to-have, it's a must-have. A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society's DNA and it's critical to understand the difference between equity and equality.
