DITT Bursary
The future of tax is digital, and training is essential to ensure tax professionals keep pace with technological advancements. The DITT provides a solid foundation in tax technology so you can stay relevant and access new opportunities in an evolving tax landscape.
For the second year running, we were delighted to offer bursaries to four successful applicants in June 2025. The Bursary is sponsored by the Tax Advisers’ Benevolent Fund (TABF), a charity of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers (WCTA). Applications are reviewed by the CIOT DITT Committee who then make recommendations to TABF.
About the Bursary
The Bursary covers all fees related to the DITT, and can be awarded to candidates who:
- Are members of the CIOT or ATT
- Are experiencing financial hardship or require financial assistance to support their studies
Who can apply?
- You must be a member of the CIOT or ATT.
- You must be experiencing financial hardship or require financial assistance to support your studies.
Examples of circumstances of financial hardship or need of financial assistance may include, but are not limited to the below:
- You have been on a career break due to caring responsibilities or ill health.
- You have been made redundant or are unemployed.
- You are currently a student or are a recent graduate.
- You are a recipient of Universal Credit.
We recognise that financial hardship may come in different forms and encourage applications from all members who are able to explain their financial circumstances.
We hope to offer the DITT Bursary to eligible candidates again next year. Check back in early 2026 for more details.
