Key points:

Mount Kilimanjaro: the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Despite having a summit at close to 6,000m, this is a not a climb – no ropes are required – although it will require a level of fitness and much determination.
Funding: Each trekker will need to fund their own trip (or get support from your employer, colleagues or family), so that all the much-needed sponsorship money raised will go to the tax charities.
Fundraising: We expect you to promise to try to raise at least £2,000 for the Bridge the Gap campaign, in support of the tax charities, TaxAid and Tax Help for Older People.
Advance planning: This is essential; Action Challenge will support us all in this. They are a firm with excellent experience of organising and running this trek.
