The remit of the Management of Taxes Sub-Committee of the CIOT’s Technical Committee covers:

  • Admin Burdens - supporting reductions in admin burdens
  • Appeals and tribunals
  • Avoidance
  • BRCC
  • Communication with agents and advisers
  • Compliance, including interventions and enquiries
  • Disclosure
  • E-filing and Carter issues
  • Powers, deterrents and safeguards
  • Practice assurance and other practice issues
  • Risk assessment
  • (TMA) or equivalent, SA and administration
