Hello and WelcomeHello and welcome to the latest edition of the CTA student newsletter for all news on key updates and ongoing essential information within the Institute. I hope 2017 is treating you well so far. Firstly congratulations to those who were successful in the May 2017 exams – very well done. If you did not get the results that you hoped for then please do take a look at the Examiners' reports on our website. The deadline for entering for the November 2017 exams, should you be eligible, is the last day of August. For those candidates who want/need extra training for the exams, this September we will be holding Training Days in London and online, and for the first time we will be holding an online webinar for the Advisory Advanced Corporation Tax paper, as well as the Application and Interaction paper. These will provide you with valuable tips and information on exam technique to assist you in the CTA examinations. Our technical article this month is tips on how to pass an Advisory paper by Nitin Rabheru. We appreciate feedback on our newsletters and welcome any suggestions at studenttraining [at] ciot.org.uk - we would really like to hear from you. Yours sincerely Rosalind Baxter |
