Having decided not to go to university, Rebecca looked for a position working locally in North Wales, and sent out letters to local firms asking for a trainee position; she joined Griffith, Williams & Co in September 2002, where she worked as an Assistant for a year and a half, before being promoted to Manager. She progressed through the ICAEW ACA qualification and is currently working her way through the CIOT CTA qualification. Rebecca currently manages a client list of approximately 130 clients which are all owner-managed businesses and SMEs; working in a practice in rural North Wales, her specialisms include the tourism trade.
Rebecca qualified as an AAT in December 2006, before working towards and qualifying as an ACA in August 2009 and was accepted as a member on 1 January 2010. She was the highest placed student in the Chester & North Wales district at final examination advanced course (ICAEW), and is studying to become a CTA.
