Director - PwC
Having joined PwC as a trainee in 2002, Dipan qualified as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser. After building his experience in advising management in buy-out transactions, Dipan has focused on advising entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, typically on matters such as acquisitions and disposals, succession, management incentives, property structuring and emigration. With clients as diverse as nursing homes, drink manufacturers and property entrepreneurs, he says his ‘sweet spot is in dealing with the interaction of corporate and personal taxes, often in multiple jurisdictions such as UK, India, Middle East and Africa’.
- Since 2009, Dipan has led PwC’s Asian Business Forum, a networking platform for prominent Asian entrepreneurs that makes valuable connections for clients and helps them extend their networks.
- Dipan’s ability to form strong relationships and his capacity to navigate through the dynamics of multiple stakeholders in family-owned businesses makes him ideally placed to manage PwC’s priority private business clients. He is currently charged with growing PwC’s footprint in this market.
