The Chartered Institute of Taxation, the principal body in the United Kingdom concerned solely with taxation, announced today the results from the November sitting of the ICAEW CIOT Joint Programme paper: Taxation of Major Corporates (TOMC) held on 7 November 2017. 84 candidates sat the paper with a 62% pass rate.
The Institute President, John Preston, commenting on the results said:
"I would like to offer my congratulations to the 52 candidates who sat and passed the TOMC Advisory paper. They are progressing towards becoming both a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Chartered Accountant as a result of their success in this paper at the November 2017 examination. We are delighted that the numbers sitting the Joint Programme continue to grow and that the programme is so relevant both to candidates for the accountancy qualification with a specialist interest in taxation and their employers."
