HMRC have published their latest Agent Update.

On Wednesday 24th February 2016: 14:00 – 14:45, HMRC are talking about Debt Management and Banking Migration. This session is primarily aimed at agents that have clients abroad that pay by any means (BACS, CHAPS, or cheque/all payments). This will include a look at the background to migration (why, when, how, etc.), the successes, what it means to you and your clients and the ‘how to pay HMRC’ changes.

HMRC provide an update on the Personal Tax Account and the Payrolling Benefits in Kind online services

Revenue Scotland provide details of the events they are holding in March.

This event is being jointly hosted by the Irish Tax Institute and Harvard Kennedy School in Dublin on 10 and 11 March. 

The first edition of Management of Taxes is now available on the Tax Adviser website.

HMRC provide an update on supporting agents with difficulties completing SA returns by 31 January 2016 due to severe weather

As part of the consultation on higher rates of SDLT on purchases of additional residential properties, HMRC is holding a number of consultation meetings for stakeholders. A note is attached of the meeting held on 14 January 2016. The note was sent to HMRC for comment before publication.
