Income Tax Self-Assessment ‚ correction of error
The Revenue's message reads:
"Claimants are required to complete a Renewal Form (TC603D) at the end of each tax year. These forms are unique to the individual and contain a bar code which acts as an identifier to a specific claimant. The claimant may pass the form to an accountant to aid completion, but it is a requirement for tax credits for the original form to be signed by the claimant. As a result, we cannot accept photocopies. If photocopies are received, they will be returned and this could result in the termination of the claimant's payments, even though, in reality, the person remains eligible."
