New Agent Forum – joining instructions
We have reproduced below the email from HMRC dated 23 September 2019 which explains that the existing Agent Forum will close on Friday 27 September, and gives instructions on how to join the new Forum which will be launched on Monday 30 September:
Dear Agent Forum member,
Please note the Agent Forum will close on Friday evening at 5pm. No more posts should be made after this time.
We will be moving to a new platform which will be available to Agents from Monday 30th September 2019.
An invite will be issued on Friday 27th September to all Agents with a link to the new platform with instructions on how to register. You should do this immediately.
We will then move all Agents across to the new platform commencing on Monday 30th September from 9am onwards. You will then be able to search, post new topics and comment as before.
From Friday 27th the new Shared Knowledge Base (including user guidance) & Online Customer Forum will be visible but as now the Agent Forum will only become available once we move you across.
The will be the last weekly update produced for the current Forum. The update will provide you with:
- Summary of New Topics/messages/Announcements posted for the reporting week.
- Direct link to posting on Agent Forum – you must have Agent Forum open or login details handy to access this link
- Confirmation of how an issue should be posted on the Forum and what action HMRC take (see below)
If you have forgotten your password please email the mailbox agentforum.wt [at] hmrc.gov.uk and we will reset it for you and confirm next actions.
Please note that if you detect something wrong with a page on GOV.UK or feel that the Guidance should be updated to reflect further assistance then please report this via the link at the bottom of that page entitled “Is there anything wrong with this page”. GOV.UK will then contact the page owner direct with your feedback for further action. The Page Owner is unlikely to contact you unless they require further information.
