Tax Planning for Brexit & Beyond: Navigating the New European Landscape
Thursday, February 22, 2018 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Program Fee: $40
42 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036
This program will focus on the critical issues of Eurocentric tax planning in the age of Brexit, B.E.P.S., and emboldened tax authorities. Seasoned tax professionals, including in-house counsel and global tax advisors, will reflect on how these new realities impact tax planning between the U.K. and U.S. Their conversations will highlight several recent U.S., U.K., and European tax regulatory and policy changes, including: digitization and criminalization - the aggressive positions of tax authorities in the 21st century; the state of Brexit and available planning options; and U.S. versus European approaches to transparency and what they mean for taxpayers.
The program will include a cocktail reception where attendees have the opportunity to meet with the speakers and continue their discussion of these critical issues.
