ADIT in the Land of Cheese and Chocolate

Well stocked with new promotional powerbanks and iconic airplanes (with the chocolate supplied by local exhibitors), symbolising ADIT’s role in powering international tax professionals around the world, attracted plenty of interest from the participating delegates. Many remembered our presence at previous IFA Congresses and are increasingly familiar with the qualification.

The occasion was the 69th International Fiscal Association (IFA) Annual Congress in Basel, Switzerland, from 30 August to 3 September 2015 attended by over 2,000 participants from more than 70 countries.

The event provided the opportunity to engage with the delegates, senior tax decision makers and influencers representing firms and governments in the international tax arena, about the benefits of latest ADIT developments. The recent changes to the qualification structure now make ADIT more accessible than ever to international tax practitioners and their employers around the world.
Two of our prestigious Academic Board members, Philip Baker and Richard Vann, took part in ‘meet and greet’ sessions at the ADIT stand. Philip and Richard used their own professional and academic insight to help promote the qualification to the attending delegates.

The ADIT team also held numerous discussions on collaborating with universities and institutes around the world, to increase access to ADIT tuition globally.

We look forward to the next annual IFA Congress, which will be held in Madrid, Spain. Nos vemos!
