As India emerges as an economic superpower, tax practitioners across the country must continue their professional development to keep pace with rapid change. Our Champion will represent one of the largest communities of ADIT professionals, who are drawn from law firms, accountancy, government and industry.
If you're an international tax professional in India, interested in getting involved with the local ADIT community, it's time to meet our ADIT Champion.
Siddharth Banwat ADIT
Company: TP Ostwal & Associates LLP
What Siddharth says:
"I’m a Partner at TP Ostwal & Associates LLP, a firm of Chartered Accountants, where I practice in taxation including international tax, transfer pricing, transaction advisory and implementation, and valuations. The ADIT qualification, which I achieved in 2013, has helped me develop my expertise in topics that are key to the advice I give to our Indian and multinational clients.
As an ADIT Champion, my aim is to motivate young and experienced professionals alike, to take the next step in their tax careers and keep pace with the fast-changing world of international tax, in the era of Automatic Exchange, MLIs and BEPS.
I’m also a member and one of the convener of the International Tax Committee of the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, and play an active role in the International Fiscal Association’s India Branch, where I am a YIN India Representative.
I look forward to promoting the benefits of the ADIT qualification, and Affiliate subscription, to accountancy and tax professionals across India and beyond."
