Why don't the IR notify 64-8 authorised agents when commencing a PAYE audit? -The IR conduct numerous PAYE audits but very rarely contact the agent in advance to let them know an audit is to take place. Such audits now cover extremely complex matters and the agent should be notified as a matter of course.-
