Always remember 6 July

Article by Sarah Bradford, director, WriteTax Ltd. This article appeared in the June 2005 issue of Tax Adviser. In the tax world, if you mention 6 July, most people would automatically think of P11Ds, as this is the date by which the various expenses and benefits returns should reach the Inland Revenue.

As far as the forms are concerned, there are three to worry about – the P9D, the P11D and the P11D(b). Although many employers will only need to worry about P11Ds and the P11D(b), the P9D is worthy of a mention.
