Taylor (HMIT) v MEPC Holdings Ltd was discussed in the September issue of Tax Adviser. The statutory section at issue was ICTA 1988 s403 as originally enacted. Their lordships were concerned with the statutory provisions which were in force at the time of the relevant accounting period, here to 30 September 2004.
