Noticeboard item by Nigel Eastaway, Chairman, CIOT Technical Committee, adding some further thoughts to David Collison's article entitled "High Noon at the SCO". Both articles appeared in the November 2003 issue of Tax Adviser. Informal Hansard interviews are a thing of the past. However, the Hansard procedure has served well both taxpayers and the Inland Revenue for 80 years.
