HMRC have issued the following information regarding maintenance work on the tax credits computer system. Essential maintenance work on the tax credits computer system will be carried out over this weekend, 17 and 18 December 2005, and the entire tax credits IT system will consequently be unavailable.
The Helpline will, however, be open as normal to provide advice and guidance, but Helpline advisers will not be able access claimants' records. Help and advice is also available on the HMRC website at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/individuals/tmatax-credits.shtml
