HMRC agent workshops October 2005: invitation to participate

Category Technical - TCN (archive)

HMRC have told us that they would be grateful for any offers to help them host several agent workshops around the country during October. HMRC's aim would be to discuss various approaches to simplify the main tax return and to hear what front line agents would like to see changed in the current form. Each workshop would need to contain eight participants and examples of HMRC's current thinking on the new form will be produced to show them as an aid to discussion.

HMRC need to seek the views of small, medium and large concerns, so each group should ideally contain a good mix. HMRC will fund the costs of hire of the venue and reasonable travelling expenses of participants.

Anyone willing to help to bring together agents for a workshop should contact one of the following in the SA Review team:

John Marshall: john.marshall@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk
Danka Wigley: danka.wigley@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk
or
