PAC survey on the involvement of tax advisers in the legislative process and its effect on the quality of tax law

A summary of the CFE Professional Affairs Committee survey to find out how far CFE countries give tax adviser organisations the possibility to get involved in tax legislation development, how these organisations use such possibilities and what their experience is.

The survey which was an initiative of PAC member Dick Barmentlo from the Dutch CFE member organisation NOB has been conducted between March and September 2011.

CFE member organisations are invited to use these findings to improve their lobbying strategy and to campaign for more transparent lawmaking in their countries.
