Problems opening HMRC CT tax return software

We understand that some members have been having problems opening HMRC’s own online CT software, once it has been downloaded. This may be due to settings on your computer being incompatible with the HMRC software, which is an Adobe package.

If the issue cannot be resolved then you should be provided with an EARS number (an internal HMRC reference number under which the issue is logged). If you are unable to file online then you can email their dedicated iXBRL team to discuss your alternatives.
