Courses of study
This section contains information on independent CTA examination course providers
Examination candidates are strongly recommended to follow a properly structured course of study designed specifically to prepare candidates for the Chartered Institute of Taxation examination. When considering your course provider you should ask questions about the qualifications and expertise of the lecturers, number of students on the course, number sitting the examination and examination pass rates. Failure in the examinations is very often clearly due to a lack of preparation, especially insufficient practice at answering questions. Candidates are urged to do as much written work in their preparation as possible. If you wish to take the CTA examinations then you should ensure that you are registered with the Institute at least six months before you wish to sit the examination. You should not expect the tutorial bodies to be responsible for registration. | |
