The CIOT has recently discovered that the Inland Revenue will do the Corporation Tax computations necessary to deal with changes in Corporation Tax rates. The calculator that does this is available on the IR website - it is described as a
marginal rate relief calculator.
We are aware of a case where a company's accounting period spanned two Financial Years. The accountant phoned his tax office and the tax office completed the apportionments necessary for him to complete the boxes on the CTSA return.
