Bradford based Richard Adrian Wilson has been awarded the prestigious Chartered Institute of Taxation Gilbert Burr Medal for the highest marks on Paper IIA of the Institute exams.

The Chartered Institute of Taxation, CIOT, is the professional body for Chartered Tax Advisers in the United Kingdom which sets rigorous exams for the profession.

Scott Gilbert, Chairman of the Leeds Branch, which includes Bradford, said:

“I’m delighted that someone in the Bradford area has beaten off tough competition and won a top prize.

“I look forward to welcoming Richard to our Branch meetings which cover a wide range of topical tax topics every month.”
